First Impressions

As a consultant I walk into a lot of offices. Let me tell you first impressions go a LONG way!!! The other week I walked into a beautiful state of the art practice. I had never even noticed the office before, but I heard how beautiful it was and it was worth visiting. Well, I introduced myself and the friendly front desk person came from behind the counter to greet me. I was in shock - no one ever stands up. She greeted me with a warm smile and shook my hand. Still in disbelief, I explained that I was a consultant who works with dental offices and that I had heard this was an office I should visit. I almost fell over when she offered to tour me around the office. Where was I??? This was not the typical office I was used to visiting. She showed me around the office as if I were a new patient. It was beautifully decorated, cozy fire place in lobby. She led me to a consultation room where we sat down and I briefly explained my services. She told me she would pass along my information to the doctors and thanked me for stopping by. What a great experience! Here was a practice that had customer service down to a T!

It doesn't cost anything to create an experience for your potential patients.

Here are my Fast Five Tips to WOW them from the moment they walk in the door!

Healthy Teams Consulting LLC Introduction

Hi! My name is Aisha Ferguson, owner of Healthy Teams Consulting LLC. I created HTC because I have a passion for two careers and couldn't decide on one. A long time ago I began working as a sterilization tech after school then I worked myself up to being an x-ray certified chair side assistant. I loved it...it was fast paced, fun and I met a host of interesting people...even some famous ones. I pursued a dental hygiene education but midway through decided scaling teeth all day wasn't for me. I was introduced to the Human Resources world and found it equally as exciting and fun as the dental field. I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Maryland and worked in a corporate HR environment for several years. I always knew I wanted to merge my two passions and now...I've finally done it. I started Healthy Teams Consulting LLC which offers Human Resources solutions to dental teams. YEA!!!

I offer a variety of services including team trainings, staffing solutions, and Human Resources tools including employee policy and procedure manuals, employee handbooks and lots of other neat tools for managing your talent.

Keep checking back for new posts!
